So XP I dropped out of the horror game jam... I just didn't like how it was turning out XP I finished my piece for the Across the Stobverse event though, but there's
been an extension sooo now I can just wait to post mine X3 I had it semi-finished, but because I've been in this weird place with my artstyle I scrapped it and restarted XP
And I'm so glad I did X3 I'm a lot happier with my second attempt!! Since the event isn't over I'm not gonna post it yet, but asdhfsjhfj I'm so excited to!!

I also fell in love with the idea of making one of those acrylic standees, but with shrink plastic X3 My first attempt was with Dead End Darling X3 I think
I might do a couple of these for ArtFight in July of other people's characters X3

Speaking of ArtFight, I'm gonna try a little harder to not burn out super early this time XP I've only got one other project I'm gonna be working on around that time,
but I'm allowed to start working on it now so I'll have plenty of time... Famous last words.
Unlike the other things though I've already started this one X3 Plus it maybe hopefully possibly won't be too hard for me given I'm just going to have to redraw a comic cover X3
Side tangent, but I promise it's somewhat related XD The event is a local event so I had to go into the store to buy a blank cover to join. Just about all of the covers you could
pretty much tell exactly what it was, but mine looked blank. So I bought it thinking 'Well hell yeah, I'll just make something fun up'... When I get home I pull it out and see that
it's actually a Batman comic and it's just the funniest thing in the world to me, because... as anyone who knows me well enough knows growing up my mom had a banned list XP
It had just about anything fun on it- Pokemon, Adventure Time, Spongebob, etc. But Batman was one of the things on it, because and I quote, "Batman's a hooker" To this day I still don't know what she meant, buuuut in the moment I was looking at that cover I couldn't help, but laugh like an idiot, because what are the odds?!?

I just need to get it done before ArtFight starts or I get distracted by another potential project XD I'm gonna avoid scrolling through Itch's Jam Calendar and
looking too hard at any fun competions or events... That being said... I went looking through the jam calendar trying to figure out what it was called and man
are there some fun jams coming up >~< I'm hopeless XD

But really I'm gonna focus on ArtFight after I get that illustration done XD
I'm wanting to do a handful of different things during ArtFight aside from just drawing people's characters X3
I obviously want to do that, but something something trying new things and experimenting creatively XD

I know I mentioned it in my last update, but I've really been wanting to play around with my style again X3 The cutesy style is fine, but I really think I need to start challenging myself
to get out of my comfort zone a little more XP I know you're not supposed to compare your art to others, but being in the stobverse event has made me realize just how many cool artstyles
there are X3 And also... I still need to work on drawing men XD I kinda got around it by making them cutesy and chibi-like in the piece I made XD But in my head where I wanted to
force myself to practice drawing men... It kinda feels like cheating XP

So in other things to distract myself with... I found a bunch of pokemon games and bought them XD

I've been wanting to do an artlocke for a minute X3 And now I have more options to do it with when I get around to it XD
Not getting distracted XD I promise XD

He's realized that if he starts a quote.... I have to finish it... Which just turns into me rewatching the episode it came from XP And quoting the entire episode like that scene from I Am Legend XD
